Can not you me with my payment. Account 100 days late and Amex just close the account and wants to send the collection, there is a way to solve this account with them before to the collection?

There is nothing wrong with communicating with their collection service and inform them about your situation. Explain that you do good on the debt, but have to work on something. By (a solution in the sense of perhaps 50 cents). Who will return with another character, but at least gives you a starting point. If it works, your account will be reported as settled for less than full payment, but at least the monkey got your back! Good luck!
