My Old Dog Is Anemic What Can I Do Would You Spend This Kind Of Money On Your Elderly Pet?

Would you spend this kind of money on your elderly pet? - my old dog is anemic what can i do

Most recently, the health of my cocker spaniel of 16 years came a turn for the worse. $ 2600 later, I'm not a complete diagnosis. We have run an MRI scanner for brain tumors and / or stroke. Now we are told that the dog is anemic and needs to see an ultrasound of the stomach, which causes diarrhea and anemia.

Is he aware of anemia in dogs? How many of you to spend $ 300 - $ 600 for an ultrasound? Any thoughts

The short answer is: yes, I was wrong.

My dog Katie, a poodle mix, a neurologist had been for a while as I 15th I spent about $ 3000 for X-rays and an MRI. I would do it again, because the life of a pet is also important for family members.

I'm not saying you should or not. If it is not in the hands of their situation in the first and well-being of your pet. You need to trust that it is your vet, a specialist and try to offer the best opportunities. Learn more about the possibilities and the cost of everything. Maintain an open communication with your veterinarian. Ultrasound is really necessary?

Maybe get a second opinion.

The anemia is that you learn more about the different types of suffering, which strikes Cocker Spaniel should research. As dogs age, they retain many of the diseases that humans can, your body is only designed to last. Due to the good medical treatment can lead to the decisions and love for your pet to live.

It is very difficult, because you can & # 039; t ask your dog what to do or how much it hurts. Good thing you and your pet.

It depends on how it is i wouldnt be able, to pay me suppose.I dogs are mounted on the bit.If that they were perhaps even younger, but how long is likely to live anyway? (Natural Life) is an ultra not really find the cause anyway, and if so, how much money you can not remember to spend on the activities etc.Cant be easily treated for anemia and as comfortable as an early age. Can we as door. You year is still much more to the veterinary bills, etc. to decide, but You've Got to know when enough is enough. What best for your dog. Only you can decide.

Honestly I do. I have no children and my dog and two cats are my life. However, one thing is, you should ask your self - my dog is suffering.

As difficult as it is in all reality, I would like my dog to sit, instead of leaving them to suffer. I think it would be selfish of me if I just stayed around because I wanted to go see him.

Depends if you if you spend money, then you can. My vet also offers a credit card, CareCredit. The plan I had was from zero percent if you pay the balance in 6 months.

Good luck to you!

What is supposed to be the life of a cocker? I wonder whether this is the end of the life of the dog and the past. I think you have a good long life with your pet had, and I think it's time to let him go to a better life.

With my dog, I spent a lot more. She had been maimed by a dog, and requires 2 hips replaced. It cost more than $ 2,200 per hip. We are not paying for them. However, I do not think regret this decision. It is part of the family.

Every time you spend large sums of cash into an animal to Murphy's Law, which will not last long. I am not, nor ever!
